# Session Summary The party ventured forth from **Khazan's tower**. After losing **Zonros** to an unfortunate blast from **Esmeralda's wagon**, they met **Dain Thunderstone**. Upon meeting and deciding to continue forth as a party, they ran into **Zsolt** and **Mathilda**. **Zsolt** interrogated the party, and upon being sure that they did not carry any silver, transformed into **werewolves** to attack the party. The party was able to slay **Mathilda**. Watching his packmate be killed, **Zsolt** decided to fall back to regroup, vowing to get revenge for his fallen comrade. During the fight, **Brisinger** also received a wolf bite from **Zsolt**. --- ## Return to Vallaki Upon returning to **Vallaki**, the party decided to go to **Baron Vargas'** mansion to tell him they couldn’t find the staff. **Dain Thunderstone** was asked to open the gate due to the rest of them having trouble opening it in the past. With his strength and might, he shoved the gate, breaking it off its hinges, causing **Baron Vargas** to get angry. **Dain Thunderstone** offered to fix the gate better than it was before, using his skills as a blacksmith. With that, the party took off on another quest to find ingots at the local general store. There, they met **Jackson**, who they purchased the ingots from. --- ## Wolfsbane and the Silvered Sword At the general store, the party discovered that **Jackson** had a special item in stock: **Wolfsbane**, a flower needed to heal **Yanki's** wolf bite and **Brisinger's**. However, the party was short on gold, needing 20 but under the impression they only had 14. They bargained with **Jackson**, and found out that he was going to gift **Baron Vargas** a silvered sword but only had the ingots. He offered to sell the flower to them for 14 gold if **Dain** would forge him the silvered sword. --- ## A Different Plan After this, the party set forth to forge the sword for **Jackson**. However, **Yanki** and **Brisinger** had a different idea, much to the disapproval of the rest of the party: sneak into the shop in the dead of night and steal the flower. They could then give the silvered sword themselves to the **Baron**, hoping to win his favor and get a letter of recommendation to enter **Krezk**. --- ## The Accident This plan led to an unfortunate accident, where **Yanki** accidentally killed **Jackson** while attempting to knock him out. With **Brisinger** stuck at the guard barracks as a supposed "witness" to an attack, the party now awaits a murder investigation, as the **Baron** won’t rest until the killer is found. This situation was further complicated when it was revealed that the **Baron** wasn't even aware of a sword for him, so he didn’t want it. Instead, the party was directed to give the sword to **Izek**. --- ## The Mystery of Arabelle Meanwhile, time may be running out for the missing **Vistani** woman, **Arabelle**. The party discovered that not all is as it seems with the mysterious **Rictavio**, as his carnival sign was found inside **Khazan's tower**, and the door there had similar markings to the signet ring found where **Arabelle** went missing. The party also suspects that **Rictavio** may not be who he says he is, as they found more journal entries with handwriting similar to that of the vampire hunter, **Rudolph van Richten**.
